Terms and Conditions of Lucas Wedding Photography

Thank you for choosing Lucas Wedding Photography. My goal is to capture your wedding day beautifully and make the experience as smooth as possible. To ensure clear expectations, I’ve outlined the following terms and conditions. By booking with me, you agree to these terms, so please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

1. Booking and Payment Terms

  • Deposit and Confirmation: To confirm your booking, I require a non-refundable deposit 30% of  full price. Your wedding date is reserved once the deposit has been received.
  • Payment Schedule: The remaining balance is due to maximum 7 days before your wedding date. If full payment isn’t received by this date, I may have to cancel the booking.
  • Accepted Payments: I accept payments via bank transfer, or PayPal.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Client Cancellation: If you need to cancel your booking, please notify me as soon as possible. The deposit is non-refundable. However, if you need to reschedule, I’ll do my best to accommodate the new date, subject to availability.

  • Photographer Cancellation: In the unlikely event I need to cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, I will either offer a replacement photographer or provide a full refund of all payments made.

3. Travel and Additional Costs

  • Travel: Travel expenses are included within [area, e.g., Edinburgh city limits]. For locations outside this area, additional travel fees may apply. I’ll discuss any extra costs with you before finalizing the booking.
  • Accommodation: If your wedding requires me to stay overnight, I’ll inform you of any accommodation needs, which would be added to your final invoice.

4. Image Delivery and Usage

  • Image Delivery: You’ll receive your edited images within 3-5 weeks following the wedding day. I’ll deliver the images in a private online gallery for easy viewing and downloading.
  • Image Usage: I retain the copyright to all images taken. You may print and share images for personal use, but they may not be sold or altered without permission. With your consent, I may use select images for my portfolio, website, or social media.

5. Artistic Style and Editing

  • Photographic Style: By booking with me, you’re trusting my artistic vision and style. I will provide images in my signature style, including color and black-and-white edits.
  • Editing Requests: Minor retouching is included in my editing process. Additional edits requested after delivery may incur an extra fee.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Timeliness: To ensure I capture all the important moments, please make sure everyone involved is ready at the agreed times. Delays may impact the number or quality of photos taken.
  • Permissions: It’s your responsibility to secure permission for photography at your chosen venue(s). If there are any restrictions, please let me know in advance.

7. Liability

  • I take great care in providing quality service and secure storage for your images. However, in the unlikely event of loss, damage, or equipment failure, my liability is limited to a refund of all payments made.

8. Agreement and Changes to Terms

By booking with Lucas Wedding Photography, you agree to these terms and conditions. I reserve the right to update these terms as needed, with any changes taking effect for future bookings.
